I enjoy historical buildings and particularly Spanish architecture. The Historic Prescott Train Depot located one block off Whiskey Row is where the Arizona Central Railroad provided freight service and passenger transport to Prescott. The train depot closed almost a century later in 1983. After taking a large collection of photos of the depot, I chose to paint this view with the iconic Thumb Butte appearing in the background. This view of Thumb Butte with the Depot is now lost as the result of recent commercial development in 2020.
