During the first year of living in the Prescott area, I eagerly explored as many local events as possible. On this day I was heading out to Sharlot Hall Museum for an outdoor event . As I drove into Prescott the threatening monsoon clouds opened into a downpour. With disappointment I started to head home but then realized I had not come out in this storm for nothing so I paused to look around. I saw the beautiful silhouette of Granite Mountain with the hovering monsoon clouds through the pouring rain. This is my attempt to capture that beautiful flickering moment of light on the mountain.
